Decent service, minor hiccup

I tried the StayFi Pro Plan for my two properties. The Guest WiFi Marketing Software is pretty solid, and the Guest Analytics are useful for understanding traffic. Delivery of the Outdoor Access Point took 6 days to reach me in California, which was a little slower than I hoped. The setup was mostly straightforward, but integrating with my existing router took a quick chat with their support. Overall, it's a good system, but clearer initial setup guides for various router types would be a nice improvement.

Absolutely love StayFi!

StayFi is fantastic! I got the StayFi Pro Plan and it has totally changed how I manage my rental. The Automated Welcome Emails are a lifesaver, and I'm actually collecting guest data without even trying! My direct bookings are already starting to tick up. The Multi-Property Management Tools are super intuitive too. I'm definitely buying more hardware for my new properties soon. This was an amazing find!

Easy to set up and use

So, I finally decided to try StayFi for my little vacation rental. Heard about it from a friend. Honestly, I'm not super techy, but setting up the WiFi Splash Page was way easier than I thought. My guests have used it already, and I've actually started getting a few emails. It just works, you know? Happy with it. It took about 4 days to get the hardware after I ordered.

Good value for yearly plan

I was looking for the best bang for my buck to upgrade my rental's WiFi. StayFi's annual billing really cut down the cost compared to monthly. I got the basic plan and it works great. The hardware bundle deal also saved me a bit on the Access Point. Felt like a smart purchase overall.

I manage like 15 properties, do they have discounts for property managers buying a bunch of units? Or for annual plans?

I Ivy Beaumont 1 month ago
Yeah, definitely ask about property manager discounts, they usually have something for bulk purchases. And annual billing saves you 10-20% too.

They often give discounts for multiple access points, especially if you're on an annual plan. I got a better rate when I committed for a year and bought several devices.

What's the difference between StayFi and something like BeWelcome? Are they pretty much the same thing?

P Paula Q. 1 month ago
I looked at both, and StayFi seemed more focused on vacation rentals specifically, especially for collecting guest data and direct bookings. BeWelcome felt a bit more general.

StayFi's splash page and email automation for guests felt more polished to me compared to BeWelcome. Plus, the hardware bundles are convenient if you need new access points.

How do guests actually sign in? Is it like a hotel where they put in their name and email, or is it more complex?

A Andre Beaumont 4 weeks ago
It's pretty simple, they connect to the WiFi and then a splash page pops up where they enter their name and email. Kinda like at a coffee shop or airport.

Guests just hit the Wi-Fi, then a page comes up. They enter their info to get online, and boom, you've got their deets for future marketing. Super smooth.

Does StayFi do any kind of deals or discounts for Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Should I wait to buy if I'm looking at getting a few access points?

L Laura P. 1 month ago
They usually have some kind of sale around those times, especially for hardware bundles. I saw one last year for Cyber Monday.

Yeah, if you're buying multiple access points, waiting for those sales is probably smart. You can definitely save some cash then, or look for a referral code now.

Can StayFi work alongside my existing internet router, or do I need to replace my whole setup?

K Kevin H. 4 weeks ago
Nah, you just plug the StayFi access point into your existing router. It basically creates its own separate network for guests without messing with your main one.

It works with your current router, you don't need to swap anything out. Super easy setup, just plug and play really.

Does StayFi comply with all those data privacy rules like GDPR and stuff? I want to make sure I'm not collecting guest info illegally.

R Ryan 1 month ago
From what I understand, they're designed to be compliant. They have features to help you meet those requirements, like opt-ins for marketing.

K Kate 1 month ago
Yeah, they mention on their site that they're built with data privacy in mind. Always a good idea to double-check your local regs too, but StayFi handles a lot of the heavy lifting.

I'm in Miami, how long does it usually take for the access point hardware to ship and arrive? Trying to plan my setup.

M Mike 1 month ago
Mine got to Texas in about 5 days, so Miami should be similar, maybe a bit quicker? I think they ship from a US warehouse.

G Greg 4 weeks ago
I ordered mine last month, took about a week to get to California. Shipping times seem pretty standard, not super fast but not dragging either.

Thinking about getting StayFi for my two short-term rentals. Is it really worth it if I only have a couple of properties? Wondering if the cost makes sense for small-timers.

T Tara D. 1 month ago
Yeah, I use it for one Airbnb and it's been pretty solid for getting guest emails. The automated welcome stuff is nice too, saves me a few minutes each time.

P Paula 1 month ago
For two properties, you might still get a lot out of it, especially with the direct booking features. I have five and it's a no-brainer, but even for just a few, building that guest list is key.
